of diverse and progressive experience in software development, I worked as a Full Stack Developer at multiple large-scale banks on a variety of internal applications. I work in Linux and Windows environments and have worked with various databases. I am proficient in Photoshop, UI design and I work with OOP (Object Orientated Programming) guidelines in Agile environments.
I can plan, design and create a website for you, all whilst editing the text for eloquence and develop custom images.
I can manage budgets and small teams. I am a self-driven and determined individual with analytical and critical thinking skills. I am currently an EIT (Engineer in Training) with PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario). I am a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner (as of Aug 2023). I am also a certified Amateur Radio Operator.
One word to describe me would be Determination.
Aside from the career stuff, I love crafting, creating, and presenting. My hobbies range from design and creation of crafts, to streaming games with friends, to acting or assisting in community theatre productions! Check out my previous project (technical and non) to see what I can do!
Worked with and on multiple in-house applications to renovate processes and surpass business needs. Created a new pipeline to meet business demands faster and more streamlined than the previous, antiquated system. Developed comparative automated reports using custom engine for data validation.
Worked with the team to develop two applications from scratch on both front and backend needs. Guided Business Analysts to determine what was feasible with our current tech stack. Aided designing the frontend wireframe and backend architecture including data organization and filtering.
Worked in a fast, highly demanding environment alongside developers to investigate and support immediate and long-term incidents and issues. Reported directly to heads of business and set up metrics to monitor various applications. Submitted weekly reports on status of applications.
Designed various building drawings using AutoCAD 2007. Constructed technical reports regarding various types of mechanical inspections. Trained to inspect various technical documentation, images, and tests. Worked with little to no supervision.
Learned about signal patterns, worked with spectrometers, and operated the Algonquin Radio Telescope. Experienced mechanical debugging of telescope drivers. Programmed with LabView and MATLAB for various modules to add to existing code. Created 2 different modules in LabView, one for serial reading and another for activating a switch using electrical signals for a larger project.
Developed test cases and automated tests in Python. Created 30+ test cases. Created a PDF parsing-search script in Python. Wrote scripts in BASH to automate tests on a virtual server. Worked with Selenium Webdriver, Mercurial, JIRA, VirtualBox, on the Mac OS X platform. Used with Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Accounting and Budgeting for the York Engineering Society events.
Organized many events whilst under the effects of Bill 115, which lead to a teacher’s strike. Budgeted with limited resources to have a surplus for the next incoming year.
